-Waking up early enough to see the sunrise over the mountains
-Singing in my car at the top of my lungs where NOBODY can hear me!
-Seeing someone who I’ve missed for years, and realizing that things change, but not that much!
-Having my kids fall asleep in my arms
-Walking outside during the fall and hearing leaves crunch under my shoes
-drinking a warm hot coco when its cold outside.
-building a fire in the fireplace when I'm expecting company. It somehow always puts them at ease.
-getting icky kisses and squeezy hugs from my kiddo's
-listening to rain and smoky jazzy at the same time
-going over old notebooks and finding essay's and poems that aren’t half bad and realizing I wrote them
-watching Makayla play the piano as she forget anybody else is in the room
-memories of laying on my back on top of a car watching the stars over the ocean or watching clouds on a hill as a bunch of teenagers just enjoying life
-getting nose to nose with my cats and let them give me an eskimo kiss
-watching birds from the kitchen window as I do dishes
-looking at old pictures of peoples lives and families. You can always see a part of history in their eyes
-having them tell you each and every story behind the pictures as you look!!!
-Playing the piano when the sunlight from the window hits the keys. Somehow all the music sounds better that way
-ditching the car every once in awhile in favor of my bike, so that I can slow down long enough to see everything around me
-having a really good conversation with people wiser and older who know God. I always leave feeling like I saw a glimpse of what I want to be
-sidewalk chalk murals
- sipping the fizz off the top of ice cold sodas
- running outside bar foot on warm summer rains showers...it can’t hurt you to get wet every once in awhile
-doing the naughty thing and going outside during thunderstorms to watch the lightning.
-capturing unsuspecting breathtaking moments of my kids with my camera, as I realize yet again how beautiful my child is in everyday kind of things
